@Death_Saved
Think about it. MC healed it and his father seemed cured. The only reason he figured it out was because he healed it a second time. And when he did it started to suck his mana dry and cause him not to run away and he probably only avoided the worst fate because of Kabis.
So it's...
@Serakym
You see the title? It's kind of a running gag that the MC just doesn't feel like the MC. He's plain, his moves aren't flashy, and other characters feel more MC than him. That's the point.
@hkzkthx
Because his skill is rather inconvenient for physical and mental torture and it's a great warning to stop people from trying to play hero.
Considering his goal isn't just to kill his targets but also to interrogate and torture them. His skill is actually not geared towards that goal...

Killing her fiance would have been impossible. He's skilled enough in the sword to buy enough time for enough people to capture her. The only option she had was to kill her drugged mind controlled father and herself so that "Do-M" AKA 'super masochist'(what the word play of his name...
@Xtroyer29
I have a love/hate relationship with these kind of MCs. When the reason they don't have a handle on their own strength has to do with a lack of experience, like never being in many fights, It's understandable. It means they can grow and learn as the story goes on.
But when they've...
Hajime leaves Hiyama alive because he really doesn't give a shit about him.
It's not worth the trouble since all he wants is to gets the ancient magic and get home. He won't bother wasting a bullet on the guy because the bitch ass is truly worthless.
@MFSnakeZ
It's almost always because that's the best and known way. Trying to find a new method of solving the problem in a game is great and all, but in real life you don't always get a do over.
@muser
@jimmyclear
The problem was that he couldn't straight up kill her. It would have caused a schism in her faction and definitely create a civil war between the lords in her faction and the king's faction turning things bloody.
. He gained a massive amount of grudges when he killed back then.[/spoiler]

@Bobman14
The problem with the bastard child was that it would without a doubt start a civil war or at least get the rest of the family killed. Very different from Uriel who was just plain neglected.
