Ok I've tried to get into this manga several times, but I have a MAJOR problem with its writing: The story has no respect for its characters. Every character not only has some major flaw to their character that makes them unlikeable, but even their actions feel forced. I understand that problems...
The title is "A normal bird can't beat a dragon, right?", so one would hope the manga would answer the question in a unique way. Something like, "by training hard" or "through the power of friendship" or whatever. However, this manga's answer to the question is "it can". That's it. I know that...
@Varler As someone who has read to the point where I know what End said, I think not knowing what he said now adds a lot to the reveal a few chapters later.
*sigh* Girl, don't you know the first rule of living in a fantasy world? That mysterious man you met is always, every time, without fail, the crown prince.
@Pokari I think he reworded the question to be something like ‘have you ever stolen back something taken from you’. In other words, phrasing it to not be asking if he committed a crime.
I love this scene. We get a protagonist who can only get through life by overthinking things, and then sensei comes up and tells him exactly what he needed to hear. It’s so satisfying seeing such a flawed character get that little push he needs to figure out what the right thing to do is.
Remember, he doesn’t just straight up have memories from before (or after, whatever). He was a bit different in the last zone because his instincts kicked in while he was in trouble, but now that he got a little bit of comfort, he reverted back to how he was before.
Calling it now, the guy in the hood is a prince. Whenever anyone hides their face in these types of stories, it’s ALWAYS a prince. (Probably not this time though)
