In the synopsis, it literally goes from third person (his) to first person (my). This series couldn't even get to the first page before becoming self insert protagonist. That has to be a record.
It's not at all that we can't see the normal dark humor, none of us are that oblivious. This chapter was just very blatant; yet, without any of the usual innuendo or sarcasm/satire.
Not saying it's bad, but it does feel too on the nose.
