You could tell someone told the author to rush this along. It makes sense - I imagine even the Japanese audience was getting tired of this extended isekai arc - the conclusion of which had (surprise, surprise) no story development. I guess someone could argue that Kazuya gained some abilities...

This is the truly an inverted rom-com. Instead of dragging out the romance with comedy for 200+ chapters it uses comedy to push the romance faster than a bullet train.

This was definitely axed, it was so rushed that it went against the whole atmosphere of the entire manga. Not to mention that afterword by the author: "I'm sure their lives will casually move along, but this is where this story ends", sounds a little too much like "there was more to come but...
