I agree, ln was better. But rather the main reason seems to be things being setup better in ln compared to manga before this chapter. I was expecting far less impact in manga and was actually impressed with this chapter!! Though it could have been set up better in the previous chapters!!

@Burnal Well yeah, but still they are terrible parents and friends (except the maid). MC realizes it to some extent, but still he has got a built up anger. And if he is given a choice to choose between his master / his parents+friends, it makes sense to choose the master.

@eng1 I agree, that's how I explained it to myself too, more or less. But at the same time, they should have shared this thought process in the manhwa too. Would just take 3-5 panels, 1/2 a chapter at max, but really important. Then again, its said that she was a cry-baby... but that doesnt...
