@mmosimca I think it's a bit of the latter, but also because of what Asahi said back in chapter 6. She doesn't think having mutual feelings of love is possible for them.

I like the change in Chi-chan's character design. She looks so much healthier. I'm satisfied with this ending, though I do wish it had a little more time to develop and address things.
