This manga has taken almost 30 chapters (and in turn like 2 years and a half) to cover content that other mangas should have settled within the first 5 chapters. This is seriously appallingly bad pacing. Like for typical LN plot progression wise, we wouldn't even have finished the first volume...

Series going pathetic route of MC going out of his way to hide. Even creates a stupid and egotistical ugly glory hog to rub it in your face too. Now we're going to get the next 6-12 chapters to slowly go over the annoying glory hog.

I've been mildly interested in following this manga but the pacing is god awful. We're like 2 dozen and half chapters in and we've yet to get past the tutorial intro arc.

Seriously? Going to ruin this series which just barely salvaged itself in the past chapters by having opponents that challenge him cause "hur dur drama and plot and power creep"?

@Invader_Retro So there's a translated script somewhere, just without the redraws/overlay onto the manga panels, and he just stole it and took credit while trying to make money? That is indeed scummy and should be removed. I would like to read this script though, I'm just checking out the RAW now.

@Kriegsmarine Whoever is translating it didn't release far flung chapters. They released 23 to 29 or something like last week or something. I know cause I read them but now they're missing. Someone is deleting the chapters from Mangadex for no known reason.

@xyzzy @MYGirafe I recall seeing all those chapters earlier and read them by this unknown group. Someone had them removed or something.

People hate the trope where the MC hides their power and have to deal with insufferable weak and arrogant morons, yet this manga seems to relish in exactly that. Not a good sign. Like it's actively trying to be bad.

@Serapheid Disappointed in what? I'm just saying they built all this backstory so author can try and scare reader that someone will die because "three days before retirement" kind of deal. And I was 100% right. I didn't say someone was actually going to die lol.

I said it last chapter, and I called it. We're getting flashback scenes so author can give us attachment to characters he's about to try and kill when the orcs sneak around and attack the village itself.

The teacher just salvaged the stupid Main Character's "but im so muh weak and pathetic" even despite being ridiculously strong. Having a main character have such a extreme dissonance between how powerful they are and how they perceive themselves is so offputting.
