@Katurog He is a high ranking member of Marie's guild who is trying to pressure them into giving up on exploring the labyrinth so he can have the glory. He's supposedly their strongest member so he gets away with being an asshole.
@linkhuesitos15 It's possible you're referencing the WN, which would explain why you don't know what you're talking about.
Nope. The official translation is: 'I still don't fully understand the language here, so there were some parts that went over my head, but mostly he was just being snooty...
I'm honestly looking forward to comparing the manga doing things in chronological order with the anime's method. I don't think the weird hopping back and forth is really necessary, except maybe to generate hype for a chapter that will happen 9 books later.
Keep in mind that poison and venom aren't differentiated in Japanese, they have the same word. There isn't really a one to one translation for the word since we differentiate between types of dangerous substances in English. They have a word for toxin, though.
I think most English speakers...
I feel like people misunderstand what their plans were for when they found Kumoko. They were a kill or capture squad, there were no friendship plans among the humans. This wasn't that much of a misunderstanding, the only sad thing is that they didn't give up and go home sooner.
The "this doesn't happen in the WN" crowd is gonna be getting more vocal from here on out, lol. It follows the same broad strokes but a lot is different between the WN and LN.
Our spider got a headstart in exp for sure, though it was hell. That said, look at Sophia's fucking starting skill points. 75000 to kumoko's 100, and some humans in the LN got 100k. She could buy up a few skills to start with and do the same grind once she learns how to walk. How many crazy...
@allen133194 I am referring to lizard friend. Takeru left in a carriage on his own in chapter 20 to hit up a mine and lizard bro tracks him down in 22 and scolds him. He admits that he'd pressured the guild master into giving Takeru's itinerary away and then decided he was joining. Takeru tried...
I can definitely see why people would pick at Simeon's lines here, about her not thinking of her own happiness. It probably is a bit of wishful thinking on his part because he's so interested.
That said, he's not wrong. Chapter one it has her looking wistful in the middle of a fantasy from a...
We don't know anything about her, but apparently we need to track her down and keep her from going home! Even though her job is done and there's no reason for her to stay!
Hopefully that guy is at least somewhat aware how shitty the life of a great prophet is and keeps his big mouth shut. Better than being a street urchin, sure, but it'd be a serious step down from where she is now.
