Loved this chapter. It's not a forced pairing: it's a joke chapter. It's poking fun at the shoujo manga they were talking about. The framework, the backgrounds, the story, the reactions, the panel-lining etc.

Y'all are missing the point. The MC wasn't equating their actions at all, and he fully believed the rapist was the worse person by virtue of being a rapist. He realises that, regardless of the other dude being worse, he's still being irresponsible by shouldering her burdens. He's a good person...

So I don't think the drain skill actually steals their skills, it just copies them. Or else she'd notice she can't appraise anymore. Also he can select when to use his skill, and what to drain (everything, EXP, or skills).
