Nearly everything starts as rip off of something else these days. It's more surprising that some ideas almost never get copied, like Rakudai Kishi (that i know of. I'd like some more rip offs of it). More important is how the author deviates from the ripped off starting point.

@MolaCola They posted an update back in march saying the translation for this was dead at the time, and while they wanted to continue at some point, the team didn't feel like it, and they had some other projects that had been dead longer, but they're still active, with their latest update one...

@MarqFJA87 1 - I think it's one of those cheat language skills that give full mastery over any all languages he may encounter. 2 - probably because it's something no one should be able to do, yet he easily did it, like what if someone casually lifted a skyscrapper with his bare hands.

@Cyreader The authors likely have to license their works to the publisher, so they shouldn't be able to for a few years, and by then usually no one cares anymore.

@delle (translator) if you want to keep using a simple text editor, try notepad++. It will keep thetext even if the editor is closed without saving (as long as you don't explicitly close the tab without saving).

Question: do you still intend to keep translating? I wouldn't have asked, since you answered the same question some tiem ago, but the twitter account your group profile links to is gone.
