This feature was meant to pick from manga you are already reading / completed / etc. based on your MDLists; MangaDex already has a random manga function that picks from all manga (https://mangadex.org/manga, or press the Manga button then click Random).

A simple button to randomly pick a manga from one of your MD lists (like All or Reading) would be a nice QoL feature.
