@Somethindarker Wooah buddy, this mom is not nearly that crazy and the guy is gay. It's a little ambiguous early on but it gets more obvious later. Also his mom isn't pushing it on him, she's just being and ally while waiting for him to come out on his own terms.

For all you who don't get why others are mad about colorism when "the theme of the story is don't judge others by there looks". It's because how shittily this is handled the core message. A story that's really about overcoming discrimination doesn't turn a character light skinned in the end...
