@SuperOniichan It was explained earlier that geisha wear wigs, while maiko get their hair styled and it stays on until the specific day when they can let their hair down. It is a bit strange to see a sick maiko keep the hairstyle when she can't work, but I guess that's just how their schedule is.

@ZBubble Chapter 10, there's no mistaking that's Ichinosuke, he's still getting hurt. In chapter 11 we see a man that is most likely Toyokichi, but his face is somewhat obscured, so it's really a guess.
