@nano12 Looked into it and apparently no. From "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" Wiki article: Her name can also be written as 赫映. The kanji meanings are 'illuminate' and 'reflect'. Kinda sounds like something the moon does, though.

BTW, her name Gekkou means "moonlight (月光) ".
