@codetaku I think out of the three, Haibara has spent the least amount of time around Wakita Kanenori. In fact I can't even really place any significant time spent between the two of them. The addition of him has always centered around Conan/Kogorou.

@vangstampede depends on how they got access to the restaurant. It'd be easer to spoil the food and just hit a wider swath of customers than to specifically poison two diners if you aren't the one preparing or serving their food. It seems their illness is food poisoning not a foreign poison...

@vangstampede More likely the culprit gave them food poisoning. Kid overheard them at the convenience store and is repaying his debt by disguising as Yuusaku, after guessing they both ate the same food. I thought I recall there was some regular cases where Kid indicated that he was suspicious...

@morichiro technically any shelled mollusk can produce pearls and the type of pearl is based on the species. So bases on it's size likely something like a giant clam.

@BestBoy Benno likely is hoping Myne has some sense of not yelling to the world her illness the very first time they meet. I don't know why he put that much faith in her common sense, from his perspective she hasn't shown any at other times.
