Maybe try a different browser and see if that works. If another browser works fine then clear all data and disable extensions on your preferred browser, or just uninstall and reinstall it.

Could you elaborate on 'settings'. I can't find any settings that hide the genre from a manga's page. Site Settings - Exclude tags doesn't hide it.

I don't want manga to not turn up in search results because they have it, just in a way where the genre isn't listed among the other genres of the manga. Sucks when I find a new manga to read only to find out someone's going to die before I even start reading.
