@ShionSinX I think the money thing is something to do with the master-apprentice relationship. Something like a graduation gift the master gives the apprentice when they finish their apprenticeship. MC just quit before the boss could give it to him/before he finished the apprenticeship.
@Talh I thought the reason they were keeping him in town wasn't because he was weak but because they know the second they give him a chance he's going to wander off to god knows where and they might never be able to find him again
We should of seen that the fight caused the dragon to wake up. With how it's framed it just feels like he's blaming himself for a coincidence. At worst he should feel bad for not being able to do something.
