I read the reviews in novelupdates. Apparently, the manga turns into a cooking manga in later chapters. Is this true? can anyone confirm?

It's good if you don't look too deep into the plot. I don't know about the 'realist' part about the manga. Everything the MC needs seems to be conveniently aquired. The set-ups for the twists in the plot are obvious and predictable.

The romance only started brewing in the late chapters, then it ended. The manga ended abruptly making it feel like a sex-ed. This manga was cancelled wasn't it.

I just discovered that this series has a manga yesterday. I don't know why but I find the manga less enjoyable. Maybe because the web novel delivers the story more slowly to the reader. The story's comedic punchlines felt more natural and less anime-ish. For the manga-only readers, in case...
