@captainunderpants123 It's because it's a very easy target for people who don't like the Castiellos. They mentioned earlier in the story that the Castiello family always has red eyes and black hair, so singling her out as an abnormality is an attempt to get under her skin and embarrass/belittle...

Often when you see an angry/struggling character in stories like these, the emotions can feel lukewarm, but that last scene definitely made him look a bit unhinged. I think the beard stubble is what sold it for me.

So, a couple things: 1) I can only barely remember what's happening here since the releases are so far apart. I'll probably need to read this from the first chapter once more to get oriented. 2) This art is actually jaw-dropping. Bravo to the artist(s).
