@Yin_Riench the manga doesn’t explain it well but I read a few spoilers and according to the novel, the king said he’d “take care of the woman and the child (if said child exists)”. MC assumed he meant he’d kill her and her child if he finds out which is why she’s desperate to hide it from him...
