A single-page insta kill is the real problem. Yeah it was obvious given the setting that some bad shit would happen, but a "yay we win" followed by a montage where surprise surprise everyone basically gets gibbed in a second is just dumb.
The pacing of this chapter feels massively rushed just to get back up to Naofumi compared to how some of the previous stuff was kinda dragged out. But I guess that's what happens when it's apparently manga-original to explain some off-screened stuff.

Momentum's the true killer with a sharp weapon. A blade is nothing without the moving force behind it. And falling onto some ordinary shmuck's skull with a blade tip-first is basically fatal so long as it hits the right spot.

@Red225 More than likely her potions will probably either fix the influenza pandemic or at least have some survivors that then hear about the "witch" from the girl, and lord only knows what happens after that
I mean a guy lacking feelings for someone wouldn't exactly drink a person's injury blood the way the King did on a whim, but hey, he probably doesn't even realize it himself yet. And it's a fantasy European setting, and Nina's fifteen and trying to avoid this stuff, the story's already thrown...
I mean, it makes sense why Saike's mad as hell. Johann, for as murderous and supremacist as he is, at least has a pitiable reason why he became that way and really doesn't hold much self-interest in his goals, thinking about what to do for other Oracle holders rather than strictly himself...
