I'm not sure if the art quality began to fall apart first, or if the writing did. Either way, the bad art and the now nonsensical plot are complimenting each other.

I think it is probably safe to assume the group that was working on this has dropped the series. Going off of their upload history, I think its safe to assume they lost interest in it.
