It's so painful when obvious misunderstandings cause bad things to happen to further the plot. So it's actually somewhat refreshing when they're used to cause good things to happen for plot and comedy.

Wait does she wear a wig? If she normally has dark hair, she has to bleach her hair to dye it. Unless she grows multiple feet-lengths of hair each night there's no way she got back to her natural hair color that quickly.

Oh that bomb definitely went off. Maybe if the police reacted immediately, they were able to get people to evacuate the area in time, but I doubt they could've mobilized a force to defuse it in 18 minutes.
