@conscript117 Not sure why it's gone into your head that people can't judge a manga or a manga character without reading the source material. Two different forms of media smh.
This battle will never stop. I feel like after this Kudo guy the author will just bring up another classmate we saw once and make him the next baddie. Might be better to see this manga as a comedy.
These translations just made everything so much more impactful. Repeatedly having moments where you can't understand what's happening in a scene like in the other translations, took waaaay too much away from the story.
Reading this chapter was a mess, each image was a different size, pronouns were switched, letters were missing, and I don't know if it's just me but some phrases just didn't seem to read well.

Not sure why people are preferring this one, there's plenty of instances where the phrasing was just weird and a bit jarring. For example, just the start of the chapter:
