Ichigo is a really good female lead. She's strong and intelligent, without being overt and exagerrated It's a real "show, don't tell" situation. I really love this type of dynamic, and I'm kinda hoping that it DOESN'T lead to romance. Just let them be a weird duo.
Holy fuck, the writing of this story is SO GOOD. The characters feels so real and the dialogue has actual depth to them. I genuinely thought this was just gonna be your average run-of-the-mill isekai yuri manga, but it has actual world-building and doesn't really focus on romance.
I swear, if there's some shitty plot twist where Manaka is actually an asshole, I'm IMMEDIATELY dropping this. He's the only decent character right now aside from the female lead.
To the Dad, completely understandable. To have your only daughter be with a man with such a large age difference is pretty suspicious. But!!! I know he'll come around and accept them.
To Hibiki, boo fuckin hoo dude. Wallow in self-pity and realize your actions were unforgiveable. Least you can...
I am actually surprised by the amount of people who hate Aya. Sure, her hitting on her friend's husband is definitely not cool, but I don't think she deserves the vitriol she's been getting. I mean, it is pretty obvious she's really cares for her friend in a weird way. Especially in this chapter.
