This is speculation, but the butler seems very suspicious. I think the reasons she's being told to hide herself may be different from reality.

@Seriha He's the father of the Kaya's fiancé/husband. He wanted Miyo because of her mother's bloodline, but Miyo's father screwed up his plans because of how much he hated Miyo.

@Xevin There are several key differences between this and Angelic Lady, not the least of which is the difference in starting social position. Aria starts with a terrible reputation, no friends, no connections, and commoner blood, while Jayna starts in the opposite position.

The premise sounds mildly interesting, but I simply could not follow the events/dialogue. Not sure if this is due to the author or the translator.
