That translation note could be left after the end of the story. You could change "glasses" to, for example, "low eyesight" and you'd keep the joke without taking us away from the story and without sacrificing something too important from the plot. At least make it a footnote, the way it is now...

Why does everyone praises this so much? The characters are boring, the motivations are unclear and the story goes nowhere. I'm not hating just to troll, I enjoyed parts 2, 4 and 6 a lot, I really can't understand why people like this part so much.
