@Potato, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the heads-up, but the default dark theme is the one I'm complaining about; it's just way too high-contrast for my taste.

The new MangaDex is very hard on my eyes, so it would be greatly appreciated if you added a low-contrast theme (just porting the legacy theme would be totally fine). In the meantime, I partly copied Discord's theme, just to show what a modern low-contrast theme would look like...

Is it possible to use the colour scheme of the 'old' site on the new site? Because the new site has a much higher contrast.

I prefer the original site because the dark theme has a lower contrast, but I'm no longer able to log in. When clicking the "login" button, it redirects me to the homepage as guest. I'm using Opera v53, and I disabled all my extensions.

The user rated scores are generally pretty reliable, and being able to show the highest rated manga first would be really convenient. p.s. The new favicon doesn't really work if you scale it down.
