I remember reading this manhwa about some guy being reborn(?) as a zombie/experiment of some crazy scientist demon that gave him a crab arm and there was a dark elf with him later on. I remember it was translated from korean since the author had to take a break for military service.

That kid has some serious mental fortitude.

What is it with Japanese needing the environment to push the characters forward? Why can't the MC for once have a backbone an opinion, an idea, a goal that's not surface level moral signaling from the author? Even all the "muh slow life" trash is basically dude exists, environment pushes him...

It had a really unfortunate ending. You can't even piece together what happened due to the hairstyles on the photos. Still very enjoyable, not sure if I could say that the ending "ruined" it.
