This series is messy and the beginning is not great. Despite that, its one of my favorites. A1 character progression.

This series has ACTUAL pacing and characterization, but people are complaining. Love this series and this arc is one of my favorites.

I am INCREDIBLY relieved that the manga is different from the novel. Kumo never stopped being cool but she was an absolute downer. Any element of fun she had was, abruptly, abandoned. There is no need for that and I'm so GLAD the manga doesn't seem to be doing that.

@Queen1500 so far, the only series that even comes close is "The Duchess' 50 tea recipes". But its only 58 chapters in so...there's time for THAT to change *sob*

I....I kinda need to know where this series is going. I signed on for a light, whimsical series....this ain't that. Its not bad, at all. Its good. But...not what I thought I was getting. There are SO MANY series like this, that go dark. I need something that stays lighter. Is this going to even...

I feel like the actual villainess might have lied to her and that she really is dying. Either way, I love this series.

@Aichan Thank you for telling us. I remember Champion scans. They'd hoard quality series and then slow step the release. They DID lead that absurd walk off that amounted to absolutely nothing, didn't they? Let's hope they keep all the nonsense in the past. I guess we'll see...
