Sabae: the waifu we need—not the one we deserve.
In all seriousness, what is with the trend of aggressive female character probably inflicting what would be horrible bullying/abuse on weak-ass men? Although, I guess it isn't that new. I mean I guess it has been the main schtick of the Seo x...
I'm sad because it is over, and also because the ending is kinda sad (and also hopeful) too.
I liked this manga. It took a lot of clichés (harem, overly-nice-yet-still-pretty-generic MC, et cetera), and makes them work in a somewhat novel fashion without turning into a full on...
@twinklecake
I'm not super knowledgeable about the exact nature of the relationship between Japanese-culture and mental illness (I am just a mentally-ill weeabo), but I feel like you're evaluating this from a more "Western" perspective. Asian countries in general do not have a good track...
Kudos to the scanlator for bringing us this. I like it. It's like Death Note (and bunch of other stuff) only way better. I'm curious to see how this story will turn out. N is basically omnipotent (so long as there are electronics around), and isn't constrained by a bunch or arbitrary limitations...
Question: isn't violence against other players forbidden (black bullets don't count)? It's been a long time since I read the relevant chapters. I'm kinda confused as to how Shino's (or really anyone's) capacity for violence represents any kinda threat (asset, whatever) at all.
I am not familiar with the Japanese constitution. Aren't these sort of documents usually written in such a way that they have certain amount vagueness to them so that they can be applied to situations that weren't envisioned or possible (like psychic soldiers for instance. . .) when the document...
@StevenK5613
You just described like a whole buncha scanlators. haha. I find it kinda amusing how the whole administration bent over backwards with stuff like group delays, yet they couldn't manage to have a conversation about this.
This is basically all of scanlation. I discussed at length...
@comeonnow0
Wait, I'm confused. The oneshot was called "My Sister's Funeral". I don't see what the TL could have spoiled that isn't in the title, but idk.
Wait, so they can come up with all these clever plans and make good predictions about how the other players will react, but no one figured out you could stop the bullets and their effects with a bit of wood until now?
@masmutant
Yep. It's been a while since I read all the stuff, but I feel like there were multiple points where the "villain" could have been someone other than Kisaki, but in the end it was just Kisaki (even though I feel like he originally started out as "red-herring"). Wasn't Kisaki...
@Doritos420
Yes, they are. It doesn't even make sense. What worse is the people defending the scanlator for dropping the series. The scanlator is "punishing" the readers for something they have no control over, and had nothing to do with (I didn't do anything to make someone "snipe" the...
So far I think this may be the best harem (comedy) OF ALL TIME. It's a great deconstruction. It's got just the right amount self-awareness without being smug and obnoxious. The best non-comedy harem is obviously Grisaia. I guess the monogatari series is probably in there somewhere too.
@SleepyAbra
Oh yeah. I forgot about Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun. I did read the scanlation, and then I bought the first volume of the official translation. I don't remember it being "bad". I haven't compared the two. I'm guess some of it might be due to a difference in intended audience...
@SleepyAbra
Don't worry about it. It doesn't have to make sense. People want manga, and don't want to pay for it. Therefore, they are directing their anger at the publisher while pretending that they have some kind of noble ideology in mind.
Although sometimes, publishers do a kind of "meh"...
@princeofcups
Well, if that is how you feel I suggest you never buy anything ever. This is how capitalism works. Do the engineers/programmers that did all the work designing your iPhone (or whatever) get a cut of every phone sale? No, they don't. I guess you shouldn't buy food either, because...
@Rassah
Okay, that does make it unlikely, but screw up can occur and have:

I don't ever transfer large sums of money internationally, presumably that is what attracts the attention of LEA blocking transfers. I'm pretty sure people have been able to transfer money internationally before crypto existed and continue to do so all without ever using crypto at all...
