I feel really bad for Rael cause technically the Novel’s author did that super ANNOYING and A$$#○/€ thing where they A. Give main girl NO FRIENDS or B. (Rael’s case) Give only ONE friend who then turns end up becoming the villain in because they both fell in love with ML. So it’s really kinda sad cause the only friend or even kind of friend that Rael would have had is Yunifer but she refuses to let that happen. Which in my opinion might be why Rael chases after her cause its the first thing she lost and that friendship is what she wants more than anything.

I feel like it's also partly because Rael simply insists on befriending Yunifer? it's not like people became cold to Rael just because Yunifer didn't really befriend with Rael.... Yunifer have stated that she's uncomfortable lots of times, but Rael keeps on insisting, and Rael also makes use of Yunifer's indifference when she fake her own injury. They're both adults; it would have been fine if they stay as acquintances.
