Makima takes advantage of it to take him down, using the power of the angel (which sucks life span and turns it into weapons, the more years he uses the more powerful the weapon) sucks the life out of hundreds of devil hunters she keeps chained to her control (chained dozens of men connect to her V lol) and creates that spear ... now we don't know why Chainsaw does everything to protect Kobeni, maybe it's because of Denji he wanted a date and a girlfriend, maybe it's because Kobeni is the only one who once really saved and apologies to Denji or maybe is just becouse she ask for help.. in any case he sacrifices himself to save Kobeni and now he's defeated.
