oh thank god. oh thank god. at one point i was terrified but even though it's been a journey since chapter 1 and there were some bits that i almost quit. i'm glad i continued. brain go brrr at the implications of childhood friendships and the ease/convenience of it. take finally maturing. and then umeko finally cheering him on and telling him to run will always bring tears to my eyes.

The volume 3 cover gives me hope for a moderately satisfying ending, but even I don't know what that would entail at this point.
