Wait a second (time pun, lul)...the fact that the watchmaker-guy just tested the Medusa means they told him about the verbal commands, right? Isnt that a bit irresponsible, considering he was more or less just revived? Even if they assumed that it has no energy left, thats one hell of a risk. What if he turned out to be some nutjob that tries a large-scale petrification right of the bat? Not to mention the possibility of the rest of the bad guys finding out about the verbal commands (if they dont already know about them).
 
@CrimsonManga89 they probably trusted ryusui enough to not recommend a complete lunatic. secondly its good he tested it now on just himself so that if it did still have power (which it did) it would only petrify himself and he could then just be revived and tell everyone that it could still be active. ALSO it doesnt matter much RN if the american science team knows about how the device works because they cant use it while senku has xeno in custody, since senku could retaliate by harming xeno (who seems to be the major brains of the american science group)
