You can't really call it stealing the kill in this case because the match was all about killing that one monster. There was no other condition, so it's obvious both team would do their everything to slay it. Keeping that in mind, logically both teams should have done their everything to kill the beast plus make sure the other team won't be able to kill it. The tiger team failed to heed the latter task.
