Thanks for the tl. I don't follow translation group so I don't know what's happening behind the scene but I'm glad this series is not forgotten

the end credits brings me flashbacks from the 2000s when there would be fights over subbings lol

Pg&e 7 gaurd-> guard

@ky_1124 it gives me flashbacks to when manga groups fought over who could churn out vampire knight scans the fastest lol

Harmone, I love you. I was banned from EJ, but I love you

In like,, a completely "I respecc" way

@KY_1124

2000s? Try like a month ago. We had a massive exodus of groups for exactly this kind of shit.

People need to stop calling out people for committing the heinous crime of doing a shit/slow job of translating manga. It's fucking childish, and worse it provokes the other children.

Just release the chapters. Snipe them, don't call them out, don't start shit. They are still punished, they still lose views and readers.

I think MangaDex took the right stance, light on the censorship, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't call this shit out. Knock it off with the attention-seeking drama causing, no groups.

Thank you for the "kind" reminder, I guess.

We're still active and update regularly here. We're not forgetting any series smh.

I approve a little bit of sniping because if you're slow, then too bad. You need to up your game if you're gonna keep up with such shenanigans.

Hoarding is for losers. I understand if you simply cannot translate but then don't hoard it. Let people do the translation instead. I mean, you're not losing anything.

Good job, no group.

Edit: No offense to the original group, but I dislike those who hoard and do nothing. Having a plan and not executing it is the same.

Well, this was rude. It’s not as if Endless Journey hadn’t updated in months. They picked up this series only last month. People do not have to update on your time.

I can imagine her getting up from the chair in a flash and screaming:
"WHAT!? No!!!! "
XD

@Scrabbleman

Can you explain "hoarding" here? I don't appreciate you just believed the propaganda here and think badly of us. We just picked it up last month, not like we have been inactive or haven't update for MONTHS; plus I've never talked to this girl, Harmone, before. So why the accusation?

@blackbunii
I must apologize then. It was wrong of me to accuse your group for that. This is mostly from some pent-up aggression I have due to scanlator drama and I seem to have fallen under that bus as well.

Since you have only picked it up last month, I still look forward to the update. All the scanlator drama has been getting to me since I see it all the time in the comments.

It's not yours in particular, but some scanlators can be really petty about this stuff. I just hope you don't follow their example.

@blackbunii

Hoarding refers to taking a lot of titles and releasing translations sparingly. A group that hoards would usually be able to release chapters much faster if they focus on a few select titles and offering the rest for either takeover or collaborations. Not saying your group did this, I do not know your group enough to say either or. But the reality is, there are many translation groups who did this, and worse, instead of allowing healthy competition, they instead bully the competition into ragequitting despite not releasing for months.

Then there's the hostage situation, where the scanlator group keeps chapters hostage until they're given money. Champion scans is famous for doing this, which is why I once said we're not losing anything with Champion Scans out of the way in another forum. I'm fine with wanting money for your hard work, but if you won't release without being paid, then don't bully fan scanlators who take over the job that you failed to deliver for free.

Again, I'm not saying you did this, I do not know you enough. Unfortunately, the few scanlator groups who do hoard titles are extremely obnoxious about what they're doing. Their actions therefore rubbed off on scanlators who do their jobs properly. It could be that the scanlator for this chapter mistake your group for another one.

From what I’ve gathered by being in your discord server and reading recent drama, just because you update often does NOT mean that your releases are fast. I’m referring to the other manga you have claimed and have not updated them. Yet in your discord projects list it seems to me that you keep adding projects. Like The Queen is Mighty and Gekkakoku Kiiden. Kiiden being especially recent and yet already being done by Secret Land Castle? What’s up with that? This is also true for Gokutsuma. Your translation there is... to say the least uhm... nvm. There is an obvious quality difference in Endless Journey’s chapter and Secret Land Castle’s. SLC almost has 4 or 5 more pages than EJ 1.1. @blackbunii

@HanaTori

Hey there!
It seems to me that you don't know full well what happened so I'd appreciate if you can restrain from throwing dirt on us. Your words reek of bias for SLC.

We've also been working on Kiiden for a month now and didn't know SLC is also doing the same project. I added the series in our project list 'cause we were close to finishing it. Then SLC released their version on the same day. Still, we didn't release and snip it like how they did to us with Gokutsuma. Please check your fact!

About Gokutsuma quality, we just decided to break the chapter in half since it has around 60 pages. It doesn't mean our quality is bad. Each team has its own way of doing things so don't compare us when you don't even know what's going on.

@blackbunii

You guys do good work. Thank you.

Sometimes anonymous people just work on chapters because they translated it and want to post their work. I'm pretty sure this is not some sort of project sniping.

*edit: 7/16/19

After actually reading that nasty end credit page. . . . . Nevermind. That's really nasty for no reason.
