Holy shit this is good. This reminds me why I would never want to live longer then 100 hundred years, seeing everyone you know grow old and die, and then having that process repeat itself is something I don't think I can live with. Even the elves of lord of the rings stopped trying to be friends with the humans because it was to sad for them. Fun fact for their names: They're all german words.
Himmel = Heaven
Eisen = Iron (fitting, if cliché name for a dwarf)
Frieren = feeling cold/freezing (as in "I'm freezing"), probably a play on how she seems rather cold/distant for most of the chapter
Heiter = cheerful/merry but is also used to describe being drunk which is fitting since Frieren calls him "drunkard priest"
