the progress for this is like a typical battle shounen which feels a little inappropriate for this series

Alright, now all we're missing is a "This isn't even my final form/It's time to get serious" and a Deus Ex Machina moment, and we'll have ourselves a manga that has more cliches than actual plot.

It feels like a manga from the 2000s. I wonder if thats intentional... I mean, it subverts isekai so it cant be that old.

Even thou it is isekai, why does it feel that this manga is especially stupid compared to others? Intelligence of writing is on par with generic Chinese stories with "System" or "Supreme" in it's name.
This manga has no redeeming qualities.

I agree with the previous comments. It’s pretty obnoxious for the author to drag out such a simple fight...

And cheers to the new translator!

How did a lance throug the neck not count as a kill
MC sure is lucky that his pen somehow left his pocket so it could be cut midair behind him BUT THE INK STILL SOMEHOW LANDS ON HIS HAND

I got a joke for you:
Knock knock.
Who's there?
Next chapter with never ending fight.
I know it's not a good one, it's painful because it's true.

@KamiKira00 & @jdexo1 Here is the thing... all the info that we should be getting during the first chapter is being dragged out through 12+ chapters (and counting).... and a fight that should only be earned around 20 something chapters in is mixed into it...

Basically, battle that should be in 20+ chapters added with an intro that should have been done in 1 merging together to become crap...

@tonie Don't worry, your joke is better than the chapter

@lionfromnorth Not that he isn't OP, but that he doesn't know his abilities. I mean, it's not like he has the power to learn fast and that they had enough time to give him some basic training or anything like that... (please note the sarcasm). It's trying cliche shonen tropes without the substance...
