The girl reminded the MC's girlfriend of the novel peerless genius system, since she made her choice and is not like the vast majority in this type of story that leaves the MC and still wants to kill the guy, she was sincere and honest without that cliche of cheap villain.

Although her new bf is kind of a piece of shit and she should have stood up to him more vigorously, but gotta have plot/drama somehow I guess
