I get that he doesn't want to hurt his new lover but it feels forced. And deliberately hurting his ex to confort his new lover... Real smart.
I understand him wanting to moving on but he had years to do so while it's all fresh for MC. Is it that difficult to understand?
I am not saying i would do any better but mais ex way of cutting him of could be better. His actions and reactions makes me feel like he actually isn't over him at all. Forced.
