A Villain Demands to Be Loved - Ch. 9

I see a lot of comments about the corset. We've clearly seen she wears undergarments (bath scene). The corset they were referring to was the waist-training type (because of the comment of a broken waist). But in the end, this is a fantasy world. Who cares what they wear?

To destroy multiple people’s livelihoods over some minor bit of disrespect? I get rejecting him and going with someone else, but that’s overboard. If it was an unintended side effect, then okay. It looks though that she’s actively going after him. Wouldn’t be worth my time, but then again that’s just me.

Ik other people are saying this but it frustrates me seeing people not understand how corsets actually worked. They were just undergarments, sure you couldn’t really bend at the rib cage, but it didn’t really restrict your movement too much or make your waste smaller. Those dresses were designed to make waists look smaller anyway, that’s just how the fabric fell, especially with the hoop dresses and all the skirt layers.

Ummm how to solve black screen? All i can see is the message about already translated chap 6-8. The rest of the pages just black screen. I did clear cache

@toolep2 I think the one that actually ruined his business was the ml not the fl because they disrespected the girl he loved for being a commoner. All the fl did was told them off and chose to go for another designer. If anything, word probably got around as to why so it’s the company’s own fault for being so rude to a paying customer lmao

Corsets are structural garment designed to help maintain posture and hold heavy skirts without suffocating the wearer... tight lacing was looked down on as vain and unhealthy. Actual closets were more about giving women the fashionable curves and typically had a lot of space to breath. Not only where women performing heavy labor in corsets but they can actually help in heavy lifting by supporting the core.
