A Villainess No More - Ch. 2

I think this is one of the more articulate chinese manhua. I like the pacing and even tho she doesnt speak much I can really grasp MC's sense of responsibility

I quite dislike her sister... and no one knows how to appreciate her.... wish her house/family would fall in ruin when she goes away just so they finally notice that the only one that is indeed capable is her.

i hate every single person around her and hope they all are ruined without her. the sister is the worst.

So I'm a little confused by the king's comment. A progressive society is needed for liberal trade? Are not women in training grounds considered a progressive sight?

Anyway, Athanasia's covering for her sister. At the end of the day, she cares about her family, and the few people who realize how great she is truly appreciate her. Hopefully her talents will be better served elsewhere.

@Psychronia I think its more along the lines that the King wants them to receive an education to gain knowledge to better the country as they are the nobility that run the country rather then get swept up in fad of hitting the training ground which does little beyond exercise and showing off how the emulate the 'perfect' younger 'knightly' sister.

So basically, the only reason their family/house is doing well is because she is doing all the work behind the scene, and she is getting trashtalked for that ?

I'm curious to see how the family will fall once she leave.

In my opinion, the king's right to be worried about the younger sister's influence. Instead of hitting the training grounds, the nobility has a duty to hit the books and govern their territories. Not that I'm saying they can't learn to protect themselves. Also about the comment where the ladies aren't buying jewelry or whatnot, I think the king means that with the ladies buying goods, they can circulate currency within the kingdom. Jewelry and other beauty items are either consumable or created to never be enough, so the money will always travel through the pockets of the kingdom. When the ladies decide to focus on training, they purchase less consumable items like armor and swords that are made to last. And since they're noble ladies, I doubt many of them actually really use their weapons in serious fights so those swords will probably last them their entire life without needing to be replaced. All in all, I'm thinking way too much into this and buying first-world stuff can actually help your economy stay float sometimes.

I love MC. She's so intelligent and knows how to conduct herself. She also knows that they have a responsibility as leaders of the society. That sister of hers is so naive

Are the images of differing widths for somebody else? I've changed some settings, but it doesn't appear to be a local issue.

I felt her fear of igniting the wrath of the king towards her sister because if no one could make her understand the sooner or later her sister can ignite a rebellion. Terrifying 😵😵😵

This is how u defend your sister even tho she could have told the truth but no she cares to much about her family like wow all other people are just shitty huh

How do you say cloix? I'm not familiar with french, but is it pronounced "klooa", "klooix", or "klo-iks"?

the story is cliched, not very interesting, the conversations are boring, and the art isn't that good. I think im gonna drop this.
