A Wicked Tale of Cinderella's Stepmom - Ch. 24

Thank you so much Sleepy Translations!!! I was looking at the chapters in another language because I liked the way the story was going with the first few english chapters you posted earlier, I couldn't wait and so I glanced at the russian chapters up to this point, this was exactly what I was hoping for from this story! I don't know how to describe it, but I want more moments like this, proper child-rearing I guess? Even if they are already relatively grown up, Ashley seems to have been lacking the warmth of a mother since her own passed away when she was young.

This and the previous chapter were fantastic! Heartwarming to a very, very satisfying degree. I started reading this story because I wanted something akin to 'Snow White's Stepmother' (novel). It's not exactly the same, and nothing is as cute as Blanche from that story, but given that the first volume won't go on sale to the public till march, I'm dying for more stories like it in the meantime lol. Seriously, thanks for this mass release you posted, I really really appreciate it!!

thank you so so much Sleepy Translations for this massive update!! That was so refreshing, Mildred is such a good mom omg 🥺🥺 It was so heartwarming to see her be there for the girls and Ashley 🥺😭

Love this mass update!!!! And omg I immediately noticed she didn't have gloves on love his sly smile when he noticed as well

Seeing this really makes me wonder how Ashley grew up. Her mother was gone by age 5, and her father was apparently constantly traveling. I wonder when the servants disappeared, and how long she's been getting by on her own.

"Oh mother, there is someone from the castle for you, definitely not Sir Walford that we are shipping you with " lololol these girls i swear

I’m living for these “stepfamilies that love each other” isekai stories right now. My heart. (ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣﹏ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣)

This was a sweet chapter. I was also like, didn’t we just conclude that this isn’t Cinderella, Mildred?! But she forgot in all of the tears and hugs, so I’ll let it pass. As someone with a blended family, I’m really liking the dynamics of this little family.

Ah, the heart of a mother.

Just as the saying goes:

Not flesh of my flesh

Nor bone of my bone,

But still miraculously my own.

Never forget for a single minute,

You didn’t grow under my heart

But in it.

Awww this is so sweet. Mildred is such a good mom. And I love that the sister put down the tray quietly so she wouldn't disturb Ashley being comforted. They're all good sisters.
