OpenSearch is a method to let browsers search the site without having to load the front page first. It's implemented by just adding an XML template and a markup tag pointing to it.

By adding it, supporting browsers can automatically detect and add support. Users can then type something like "mangadex oneechan" in their browser address bar to instantly be directed to MangaDex's Quick Search results for "oneechan".

when i last submitted this, it was ignored.

please add.

i don't see any downside, and while I'm not a developer, it doesn't seem very hard to implement at all.

Oh right I just forgot about this

I'll ping you when it's up

@Truck-kun @MarvN Added. Firefox seems to still have some issues with searches that have spaces, but that'll be taken care of (hopefully) shortly.

Just to let you know, opensearch.xml is redirecting to the .cc alternate domain, which currently means a Cloudflare interstitial.
