Add Progressive Web App manifest to the site's header :maybe:

Until this is implemented, you can use Hermit, which turns websites into web apps, or use Tachiyomi with the Mangadex extension to read from the site. Note that the second option doesn't update your reading status on the site, but can update both Kitsu and MAL.

Holo said he has *no* idea what a progressive web is. I don't either, to be honest. He'll have to do some research.

Would require a major rework, and properly exposing data.
Unlikely at best.

A progressive web app is basically an app-like made with HTML/CSS/JS, but with a browser instead of a framework like Cordova. You can achieve near feature parity with most native apps despite not being a native app.

In this case, all you should need to do is register some icons, choose a theme color, and register a service worker that may or may not do anything.
