Aiki-S

Anyone else feel like the prequel was more compelling. I have no investment in this tournament, and the supporting cast has lost the more likeable characters.

The series has stalled out and despite there being more to happen....it is listed as 'Complete'.
Guess that this series is done regardless of what has yet to come out after chapter 38.

@DaviD01
The "Complete"-Tag only tells if the series is complete in the land of origin and not if all chapters are scanlated (which they aren't).

The first Aiki went downhill pretty quickly after the first school arc, but even the sequel had its charm. Can't say I'll miss it, though. You could really tell the author was milking it in hopes of staying published.

Sigh. It really makes me sad that it got axed. Unfortunately Author ran out of ideas...
In truth this is one of the funniest martial arts mangas out there. Despite the simple art the characters and martial arts is good.
It deserved to be a long story and have it's own anime!

I found the first series really interesting and funny, But I got turned off hardcore by this sequel :/ But I vaguely remember now. Its just wierd seeing this pop up again.

The previous series didn't have much of a plot but this one is literally just one never-ending tournament with no point.

Isutoshi isn't really a plot person.

The characters are good and the writing is amusing but there really isn't a story. At least it isn't as tedious as Bowling King.
