Every time we see more flashbacks to them as childhood friends I feel so much sadder for Hak and Yona. They were such good friends, and he betrayed them like that...

I don’t know how the story is going to end... I’ve read it through a couple of times. But reading this again makes me wonder if Hak could be accepted as a king? He’s obviously going to be well educated in combat and all the proper academics and he’d win over commoners because he’s one of them.
It also makes me wonder if the story will ever dig into Hak’s lineage? If it’s important or not.. also sorry, I have no idea how to use the spoiler button

Makes me think Soo-won had Hak as the King in mind without a doubt when he knew about his own illness and that he doesn't have long before he dies. Soo-won said he already knows who he wants to be King and Hak was always his goal. It would make perfect sense tbh. But we'll see.
