Taoist cultivation is Xi Jinping's favorite manhua theme, so he mandated that at least 85% of manhua must follow that theme in order for more 'good' (if you can call them that) Taoist cultivation manhua to inevitably be created.

a lot are adapted from wuxia / xianxia so I would expect it. I was tired of the manhua and just went and read the novels themselves, usually is better
