@Bighazsam i think he sees Kuribayashi talent level in Aoi thats why he was trying to prevent Aoi from climbing. He is scared of Aoi's potential rather than thinking Aoi is beneath him

Akutsu might be an A-hole but he's completely right in this circumstance.

Kiriki aside...I think Takasugi is actually worse. Not so much that he assumed Akutsu couldn't make it to the national team but the fact that he's going to place all this responsibility on Akutsu and Kiriki to make the 1st years better. Dude, don't ask of others what you, yourself is not willing to give.
